Kettering Town Harriers Great 24hr Lands End to John O'Groats Challenge!
On Saturday 1 August 2015 the athletes, coaches, parents and friends of Kettering Town Harriers are attempting to run the 837 miles (1347km) from Lands End to John O’Goats.
The estimated time in a car for the 837 mile journey is 13h 55min… we intend to complete the distance - on foot - in 24hrs. To save on fuel emissions and potential traffic chaos we’re going to cover the distance by running 3,368 laps around our 400m track here in Kettering.
We’re running to raise money for Cransley Hospice (60%) and our own Kettering Town Harriers Development Fund (40%) that goes towards equipment, facilities and athlete development at the club.
