Emily Williams secured her third award of the year at the prestigious Northamptonshire Sports awards held at the Sywell aerodrome, securing the best young sportswoman award in a category that was of a very high standard. This follows up her success at the Northampton & Kettering sports awards where she won the same category.
This recognition is highly justified after a season which saw her represent her country twice, and secure back to back championship wins at English Schools & the School International. Emily is also the Number 1 ranked athlete in the world for both 800m & 1500m for athletes born in 2002.
