Cransley Hospice Thank You to KTH

Cransley Hospice recently wrote to Josh Cara who instrumental in setting up a Just Giving page for the KTH 24 hour Lands’ End to John O’Groats charity challenge in August this year. The total amount raised was just shy of £900 which is a fantastic achievement.

Many Thanks to all the KTH members and friends who participated in this event and helped with sponsorship.

Money was also raised for the KTH development fund which helped towards travel costs for the recent Govilon Training camp which members of the Middle Distance & Sprint Squad attended.

A copy of the letter received from Cransley Hospice is below:

Dear Joshua

I am writing to let you know that your JustGiving Page has now expired.

The patients and staff at Cransley Hospice are so grateful to receive your donation of £613.93 from Justgiving (including Gift Aid and minus fees) raised from sponsor money from the Kettering Town Harriers 24 Hour Running Challenge.

Just to confirm that we have also received the cheque for £279.43 from Kettering Town Harriers, which makes a grand total of £893.36. Thank you so much for thinking of us it is greatly appreciated.

We are always very moved when people in the local community choose to make a positive contribution to help others who are living on a day-to-day basis with a life-threatening illness. Please be assured that every penny of your contribution will be used for the benefit of our patients here at the Hospice and in the local Community.

It will go towards treatments and facilities that otherwise would not be available to them at what is a most difficult time in their lives. On behalf of those who will benefit from your kindness, please accept our heartfelt thanks.

Your generosity will help us to make a real difference to those we care for.

Again, on behalf of all here at Cransley Hospice, thank you for your kind generosity.

With kind regards and best wishes to you and all at Kettering Town Harriers.

Bonnie
