On a warm day at Parliment Hill in London, the 2012 English Cross Country Championships (and 125th holding of this event) took place. Four senior Kettering men managed to finish this course, with Paul Young having to pull out after the first lap with a pulled calf.
First home over the 12 km course out of 1689 runners was David Green in 287th place with a time of 42 min 48 sec, followed by Alan Rain in 1143rd place with a time of 53 min 24 sec, Andrew Clawson in 1152nd place with a time of 53 min 27 sec, followed by Antony poncia running in this competion for the first time in 1282nd place with a time of 55 min 27 sec.
