Heart of England Final results!

The final positions following the 3 Heart of England league meetings saw Kettering put in a highly credible performance with the Kettering Women/ Girls winning the overall female competition ahead of Wreak Runners and the combined male & female team finishing in third place overall.

This means Kettering will remain in Division 2 with an opportunity to mount a serious challenge for promotion in 2016. Local rivals Corby look likely to be relegated into division 3 which will sadly mean there will be no local battles to look forward to in the HofE league matches in 2016.

Particular mention should be given to U11 Alfie Frayne who was 2nd second overall in the U11 boys 600m with 1:58.8, and also in the Howler with 36.0m. Alfie is a bottom year U11 so looks to be a great prospect for KTH going forward.

Well done to all athletes who competed for “Team KTH”
