Kettering Town Harriers will be hosting two cross-country meetings at Wicksteed Park this autumn: the North Midlands League on 13th November and the Charity Cup on 11th December. There are races for all age groups from Under 11 to senior. We expect a really good turnout of Harriers taking part but for anyone not planning to run, including parents of young athletes, we would really appreciate your help.
We need volunteers to assist with setting up the course in the morning, marshalling the runners during the races to ensure they stay on course, and putting everything away afterwards. Full training will be given and you may even get to wear a fashionable yellow fluorescent tabard!
If you are able to help, please let any of the committee know or have a word with Sarah or Angie in the kitchen.
PS If you are currently the proud possessor of one or more of the club cups or trophies, please return it (or them) by 19th October, in readiness for our presentation evening on November 19th. The ladies in the kitchen will be pleased to receive them.
