It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of KTH Chief Timekeeper Peter Dunkley. Peter officiated at the majority of our home events as Chief Timekeeper and worked his way up to officiating at national events over his timekeeping career. Peter was always willing to support the other KTH timekeepers and help build their confidence and skills.
His support, cherry disposition and sense of humour will be missed by us all at KTH and our thoughts are with his family and friends.
Peter's funeral will take place on the 20th July at 4pm at Nene Valley Crematorium in Wellingborough and afterwards at Rushden Hall, Hall Park Rushden NN10 9NG. The family are asking that people don't wear black (unless that's all they have).
The family have also asked if we can set up a trophy or shield in Peter's name. We have decided to establish a Peter Dunkley award to recognise those who volunteer in an officiating capacity at the club, with additional funds going towards our Young Leader Accreditation Programme, through which we are developing young volunteers for the future.
