Jack's on fire!

Following his first sub 5.00 clocking at the YAL, Jack Hope continued his scintillating form by knocking 5 seconds off the Year 7 North Northants District Schools 1500m record, set by fellow-Harrier Jonathan Goringe seven years ago. The next day he followed up his fine second place in the opening Peterborough Grand Prix race with an Under 13 boys win in the second GP in Eye. Jack finished second overall in the combined U13/U15 race and completed the 3K course in 10.30, narrowly missing the £5.00 prize for the first boy home when he was beaten by an older rival (U15 boy).

Ethan Mehmet (5th) again ran well to improve on his 6th position in GP 1. A Harrier again won the Girls race when Gina Diaz-Santaza (U15) was first girl home in 11.55, and took the £5.00 prize money! Kayli Walford, the previous winner of the girls race, ran well for 4th, with Lauren Mehmet 9th and Kerry Green 10th. Anya Galletta finished well for 6th in the U13 girls race.
