Kettering Town Harriers Coronavirus Update

In line with the statement published today by our governing body England Athletics (see below), we are suspending all activity at Kettering Town Harriers until at least the end of April – this includes Road Running groups, Track & Field training & KTHBolts.

“Following UK government’s advice on social distancing we advise that all face-to-face activity such as club training sessions, events, competitions, club committee and face-to-face meetings, athletic camps, running groups and social events should be suspended until at least the end of April” England Athletics - 17 March 2020

Where possible coaches and run leaders will be in contact with their athletes to provide ongoing training advice & options, but no activities of the Club will take place at the facility (track, field or clubroom) or at any other venue.

We will update you by email, through our website and on our Facebook pages as the situation changes.

Kettering Town Harriers as a club are completely representative of our local community. As such we have members, coaches, committee members, volunteers and their friends and families who are at risk, and at higher risk due to their age, underlying conditions and/or the environment they work in and the jobs they do.

We also have, as part of our KTH community, those who are self-employed, work zero-hour contracts, or are wholly reliant on the gig economy.

We have all benefited in some way from being part of Kettering Town Harriers - the people we have met, the connections and friendships we have made - we ask you to consider ‘paying it forward’ where you can.

Stay safe, look after yourselves and look after each other.
