The final league meeting of the season saw some great performances from the squad. Holidays affected the number of competitors from the squad, but the club still managed to finish 4th overall on the day.
The standout performance of the day came from the athletes in the mixed 4 x 400m relay who set a new club record of 4.00.0 seconds. Lewis-Morgan Barton ran the 1st leg to give the team a lead, handing over to Charlotte Rainbow who managed to extend the lead further before handing over to Holly Abbott. Holly managed to maintain the lead for 240 meters, before being overtaken by the Stratford-Upon-Avon male athlete. Cole Sinnott was on the anchor leg, and with a gap of 35-40 metres between him and Stratford-Upon-Avon when he took the baton, and the Stratford athlete moving away, the pressure was on to overtake them. He managed to do this after 180 metres though, and brought the team home to set the new record.
