Mike Buxton received the 'Volunteer of the Year' award at the Kettering Sports Awards ceremony held at Wick teed Park in September. A member for 28 years, Mike has been a competitor, Committee member and and is currently a UKA Grade 2 Starter. For the last 20 years he has organized an annual track event for children with disabilities, attracting over 100 children from local special schools each year.
