Network wins for young Harriers

At the end of a long season, some of the younger Harriers took part in the first Northants Athletics Network u11, u13 & Masters event in Corby.

It was a busy day for the Beale family as u13 Alex and her sister u11 Robyn competed across many events. Alex started her winning treble in the Long Jump, jumping just outside her PB in 4.07m but then set two new PBs in her later events – 30.7s in the 200m winning her heat and 1.40m in the HJ competition – a fine day all in all.

Her younger sister Robyn started the day with a 5th in the long jump, just outside her PB. She then set a new PB in the 75m running 13.5s before finishing the day with a 4th place in the howler. In the same howler competition, u11 Rory Pateman won his competition with a winning throw of 39.41m just outside his PB.

In a strong Harrier High Jump competition, Lewis-Morgan Barton won the u13B competition with a season best 1.45m just outside his PB. In his other events, Lewis-Morgan came 3rd in both his 100 & 200m heats and finished just outside his PBs here as well.
Well done to all of the above.
