KTH have linked up with Coaching Northants to offer coach training scholarships.
The Northamptonshire Coach Scholarship Scheme has been developed to encourage and support the personal and professional development of coaches working in Northamptonshire through subsidising the cost of National Governing Body coaching qualifications.
The aims of the scholarship scheme are to:
Increase participation in sport
Improve levels of performance in
Priority will be given to coaches who:
Are coaching children and young people (aged 25 year and younger)
Are delivering sport specific, multi sports or multi skills activities
Are contributing to one of the aims of the scheme (outlined above)
Coaches who meet the criteria above and who are from under represented groups in coaching: women, black and ethnic minorities and disabled people.

Anyone training to be a coach at Kettering Town Harriers who is eligible for this scheme will have the other 50% of the cost paid for by KTH
