Peterborough Grand Prix race 3

Kettering Town Harriers youngsters continued their dominance in the 5 race Peterborough 3k Grand Prix series. Kayli Walford again took the U15 honours in the third race at Ferry Meadows on 7th July, Kayli was the first girl home in the junior 3k race and she bagged the £5.00 prize money for a second time and moved into pole position to take the series and receive the £15 series prize, with her record of two wins and a second place in GP2 to fellow Harrier Gina Diaz-Santana. One more win in either of the final 2 races will guarantee victory

The ever consistent Jack Hope also ran a very close race with his series arch rival, Alex Hampson (Nene Valley Harriers), narrowly coming home in second place in the U13 boys race. With Jack having one victory to Alex’s two the final two races will be a very close affair, and Jack is still in the running to take the series and better his overall second place in the 2009 series.
