 AWARDS

 
CROSS COUNTRY (relates to 2013-14 season)  
 
LEWIN CUP (for the senior man champion). - Andrew Clawson, leading Kettering Town Harrier in the North Midland League who came 38/421 in the 4 fixture series., and Midland Championships.  Also team medal in the county vet championships, and a bronze in the EVAC cross county championships. 
 
WRIGHT CUP (for highest placed in County cross country championships) - For an incredible 4th consecutive year of being crowned county champion, this year as a 1st year U17M - Josh Cara
 
IRONMONGER CUP (for most improved senior or veteran male) - Peter Goringe, who has improved his overall standings this season, in the North Midlands League and County Championships. 
 
BOYFIELD CUP (for best overall female) - She came 2nd in Charity cup/County championships & County schools, 11th in Midland Counties, 5th in Anglian Trophy as well as Inter-Counties & English Schools - Jess Gordon 
 
THURSTON CUP (for best overall senior female) Won silver in the EVAC cross country championships, and also scored for the Charity cup race - Amanda Marlow
 
VETERANS SHIELD (for best overall veteran female) Wendy Duke, for her performance in the Charity Cup.
 
KTH CROSS COUNTRY SHIELDS (for best overall U20 female and male) -- Male - he finished top 10 in Charity Cup, County Championships & County Schools and representing the county at both English Schools & Inter-counties finals -  Lewis Hayes,   
 
Female - she took 3rd place in the county championships, 1st place in county schools, 13th at the Midland Counties, 9th at Anglian Trophy, and representing the county at both English Schools & Inter-counties finals - Claudia Kelsall
 
YOUTH SHIELD (for best overall youth) -- He won the County Champs for a 4th consecutive year and delivered an individual Bronze Medal (& Team Silver) at the Midland Counties & top 50 positions at both Inter-Counties & English Schools. - Josh Cara  
 
KTH CUPS (for best U17 male and female members) - Male - he had top 10 places in the Charity Cup, the county championships, Anglian Trophy & Midland Counties while winning the County schools and representing the county at both English Schools & Inter-counties finals - Jack Hope
 
Female- She had a very consistent year again with 7th Charity Cup, 4th county champs, 23rd at Midland Counties, and representing her county for English Schools & Inter-Counties -  Abigail Coleman
 
FOSTER CUP (for most improved U15 male)-- He came 4th in the Charity Cup and 3rd in the county champs, 32nd in the Midland Counties & represented his county at both National Championships - Ethan Mehmet
 
ANONYMOUS CUP (best overall U15 female) -- She came 2nd in the Charity Cup & County Champs, 28th in the Midland counties and represented her county in the Inter-Counties & English schools - Claudia Nevett 
 
BOSWORTH CUP (for most improved U15 female) - She came 08 in the county champs, 18th at the Anglian Trophy and qualified for English Schools for the first time - Rebecca Hughes 
 
STUART TROPHY (for best overall U13 male) -He came 7th in the Charity cup and 5th in the county champs, 2nd at County schools and represented his county for the first time at Inter-Counties -  Henri Codling
 
REG CLAYPOLE CUP (most improved U13 female) - She finished 18th at Charity Cup, 9th at County Champs, 07th at County Schools, and represented her county for the first time at the Inter-Counties  - Jenifer Robinson
 
HEIGHTON CUP (for best overall U13 female) -She finished 2nd in the charity cup, and 2nd in the county champs, a winning performance in the prestigious Anglian Trophy race, finished a superb 11th at Midland Counties & went to her first Inter-Counties championship - Emily Williams
 
BARTON CUP (for best U11 male and female) - Male -  He finished  had an incredible year on XC winning the Charity Cup, all x4 North Midland league races & was the outright NML champion, and ran well in the Anglian Trophy in 14th position - Dylan Bowley 
 
Female -  In her first full season she improved a huge amount, coming 11th at Charity cup, 5th at County Champs - Daisy Robinson
 
 
 
ROAD RUNNING 2014
 
UNDERWOOD CUP (for the most outstanding performances in Road Running) - Kerry Munn, for finishing the East Midlands Road running league in 2nd place, and the NRRL league in 1st place.
 
KTH ROAD RACE SHIELDS (for best overall senior or veteran road runners). Male - Phil West for finishing the East Midlands Road running league in 3rd place., and 2nd place in the NRRL series.  Female - Kerry Munn, for finishing the East Midlands Road running league in 2nd place, and the NRRL league in 1st place
 
ORAM TROPHY (for 1st KTH finisher in the Cransley 10K race) -  Ethan Mehmet - who was the firm member of the Kettering Town Harriers to finish the race, in 16th place overall, with the club taking first place in the team event.  
 
ROY EDWARDS MEMORIAL PLATE (awarded to an adult athlete for commitment to road and cross country) -Terry Hatter
 
(NEVILLE MARSHALL) ENDURANCE AWARD- - Josh Cara & Jack Hope   Josh - was a county-champ 4th year running, An individual bronze medal in Midland Counties & leading the team to a team silver, gold medal in county champs 1500m (beating Jack) ES qualification for 3k, and also a superb club record for 3k.  Jack - good solid XC (team silver in Midland Counties and won county schools) but on track taking up a new event (steeple chase) he excelled getting ES qualification & Grade 2 time for 1500sc, he broke the club record for 1500sc & 2ksc and is ranked 6th in UK. Jack was also selected to run for the Midland region at the Sainsbury's Games. TRACK AND FIELD 2014

MERVYN CUP (for most points scored in HOE and Midland leagues by an Under 17 female) - She scored 90 points across both leagues - Annie Gilbert
 
HALL CUP (for most points scored in HOE and Midland leagues by an Under 17 male) -He scored useful points especially in the later midland league meetings -  Mitchell Hunter UNDER 11 AWARDS (For attendance, training and club representation)  . Male Rory Pateman  Club record in the Howler and Silver in the Heart of England awards for Howler in U11s. Female Sophie Toseland - Bronze medal in the Howler HofE awards - she also regularly attended training and worked hard.
 
UNDER 11 CUPS (best overall performances in county, chairman's cup & multi events) Male - Max Mowforth - Gold HofE Long jump, bronze, County 150m and Gold County 75m - also represented the Club at HofE events. Female - Millie Webb - Gold County Long jump and Brown 150m and 75m - also regularly competed at HofE fixtures FANCOURT SPRINTS SHIELD (for the best overall sprint performance by a female) - Breaking her own 200m record at the EAP combined event by 0.2 seconds - Niamh Bailey  
 
ALLEN SPRINT SHIELD (for best overall sprint performance by a male) for being wiling to step up and run a PB ensuring the club gained important league points - Mitchell Hunter
 
FOSTER SHIELD (fastest 800m run by U15 male) - Jake Trent - running 2.04.37 - new club record
 
KTH SHIELD (fastest 800m run by U15 female) -- Rebecca Hughes - running 2.25.11
 
BRIAN SMITH SHIELDS (fastest 1500m runs by an U15 male and female) - Male - Joseph Barthorpe  Female - Sophie Moss
 
BAKERS CUP (for best overall performances and points scored by a junior or senior athlete) In third place Annie Gilbert with 90 points, in second place Daisy Gilbert with 114 points, the winner with 152 points from the midland league - Niamh Bailey
 
DAWSON CUP (for the most outstanding performance of the season) At the Bedford competition she added over 200 points onto her PB which is some achievement for an established combined events athlete  - Niamh Bailey     
 
LANGLEY PERKIS TROPHY (for the most improved athlete) Both athletes massively improved their performances over a long summer season -Tapuwa Chitaga & Emily Williams
 
EVANS CUP (for most improved athlete in a track event) Setting 3 clubs records in the 100, 200 & 300m - Erin Healy
 
DEREK WRIGHT SHIELD (for the best performances in a field event) For setting a new club record in the hammer despite having had no cage for a winter -   Daisy Gilbert        
 
ROGERS COACHES AWARD (for the most promising Under 15 and Under 13 sprinters). Under 13 - Brooklyn Biddle Under 15 - Tapuwa Chitaga
 
KTH THROWS SHIELD (for the most improved athletes in more than one throwing event) -. Male - Bradley Fox           Female - Annie Gilbert       
 
KTH JUMPS SHIELD (for the most improved athlete in more than one jumping event) -. Male - Bradley Fox Female - Alex Beale         
 
PELESZOK COMBINED EVENTS AWARD - for an impressive 3rd at the EAPS combined events - Niamh Bailey        
 
TEAM MANAGERS TROPHY (awarded by Midland team managers)  For their commitment as well as the points earned Male - Terry Hatter                Female - Rachel Gilbert
 
KTH TRACK CUPS (awarded by HOE team manager to the best male and female U17 club member for 100% attendance, behaviour and points scored)       Female - Ella Palmer   Male - No nomination
 
ERIC HODSON MEMORIAL TROPHY (for the best performance by a senior or veteran female) For being a decathlete for a day at the Midland Vets League final - Kerry Munn
 
COLIN FAIREY CUP (for the best overall performances by a veteran male) -He was the highest men's vet (4th highest man overall) in the midland league - Pete Mills   
 
MABEL BOYFIELD MEMORIAL TROPHY (most overall points scored by a veteran female in the Midland League) - Rachel Gilbert
