Yannick and Niamh at Loughborough

Two of Kettering's top sprinters represented the East Midlands in a match against Loughborough University, and the record books were re-written yet again.

Yannick  Phippen took third place in the 100m and 200m, and on both occasions shaved a little bit off his club junior records, as he clocked 10.86 and 22.24. The fact that the races were electronically timed will help boost his high positions in the national rankings still further.

Niamh Bailey performed well aginast more experienced opposition to place 5th in the 100m (12.80) and 3rd in the 200m (26.28) - both times close to her best.
