In the 1500m races Kayli Walford ran her second fastest time ever over the distance by posting an impressive 5.05.2 in her first race of the season. Also in action were the U15 1500m specialists Jack Hope and Josh Cara who both ran impressive races each knocking around 10 seconds off their previous best, with Jack running 4.35.9, and Josh recording an impressive 4..25.7. Tabatha Walford also ran but paid for a fast start by tiring on the last lap with 5.30.5.
