Overall everyone gave maximum effort and as most of the athletes will still be eligible to compete again next year, we have a great performance base to work from and with better support from the clubs so we can enter full teams, Northamptonshire should be able to improve massively on this years already fantastic performance.
None of todays efforts could have happened without parents who made sure that their sons and daughters could get to the heats and the finals in Grantham, and the helpers from the various clubs who timed, measured and generally helped out with the heats.
