KTH's Daniel Waples has recently enjoyed an experience that very few athletes ever get close to: he has represented his country.
The talented 14 year old race walker donned an England vest in Tullamore, Ireland, and finished third behind two Republic of Ireland athletes, in an excellent 10 minutes 19 seconds for the 2Km distance. This result puts him top of the UK rankings.
