Fine performances at Tipton

Four Harriers made an early appearance on the track when they travelled to the West Midlands for the Tipton Games, and they produced some performances that bode well for a successful summer season.

Pride of place goes to young Grace Linnett who broke Nicole Roberts' Under 11 Club Record (set in 2002) with 11.61 in the 75m. This earned her second place, and she also took the bronze in the 600m (2.04.1).

Bradley Fox won the gold medal in the Under 15 High Jump with a clearance of 1.55m. He was also third in the Long Jump (4.64m) and rounded off an excellent day with a personal best in the 100m (12.93s).

Seniors in action were Isaura Collyer, who clocked 13.33 for second place in the 100m and Ashley McClintock, whose 53.51 was good enough for third in the 400m.
