However last weekend, U20 Daisy Gilbert went to the first Open Meeting of the season at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham and broke a 13 year old club record.
Having won her shot putt event the day before throwing 8.71m in cold conditions, she followed up with a creditable 32.02m in the Hammer to smash the previous record.
A very good haul from a cold weekend...
