Four members of the KTH road running and jogging groups competed at the Northampton Half-Marathon this weekend gaining a 1st position age group award and achieving a number of personal significant road running milestones.
KTH competing athlete and jog leader Trudi Pike achieved 1st place in her age group with a time of 1:38:31 to add to her strong years racing performance across multiple race distances and parkrun tourist trips. Trudi was also awarded the Half Marathon County Championship Gold Medal for her age group.

KTH jogging group members Charlotte Ross-Kelly, Rachel Kieran and Rebecca Murphy completed their first races over the half marathon distance and further proved how their training was paying off; Rachel and Rebecca it seems proving that their training plans are identical or that a 13.1 mile race is best completed as a pair. I suspect that the London Marathon KTH place ballot will include a few new names this year….
