Heart of England League victory!

In pleasant sunshine (there's a surprise!), the Harriers scorched to victory in the Heart of England League Division 2 fixture at KLV on Saturday.

With excellent contributions across the board, Kettering held on for a narrow win over League leaders Tamworth. This result moved KTH into second place in the table, giving us an excellent chance of a second successive promotion.

Performances of the day were Jack Reed's 12.9 in the Under 13 Boys 100m and Niamh Bailey's 41.0 in the 300m, both of which broke Club Records.

If we are to go up in Division 1, we MUST put in a good performance in the final league meeting at Worcester on Sunday 2nd September. BOOK THE DATE NOW - WE NEED TO FILL EVERY EVENT!!!

Results are on the Fixtures and Results page.

PS We've since discovered that Diarra Layne equalled the club Under 11 Boys 600m record, with a time of 1.57.3 - the same achieved by Joshua Bambridge ten years ago. Well done, Diarra!
