Northants Virtual Road Race League - Race 1

The results for week 1 of the Northants Virtual 5k Series are in. A strong weekend of lockdown racing was displayed by our KTH athletes who clearly have been putting in some solo graft during lockdown and proving that you don’t need a traditional race environment to deliver results. result_list_for_nrrl_league_2020___race_1.xlsx

The ladies team really shone this week and although it’s a bit early in the league to start counting chickens, are currently 1st in the overall team rankings. Our first lady on the board this week was Natasha Martin who ran a sound 20:04; placing 2nd FV35. A stonking PB performance from Millie Caffull, who took 9th spot in the women’s open race with 21:34. 5th FV35 was Lydia Wilkie who ran 22:17. Kerry Munn took second place in what looks to be a strong FV55 category with 22:56. Nicola Robinson was 4th FV45 with 23:36 with Nicola Speed two spots behind, 6th FV45 with a run of 24:32. Stacey Barrett ran 25:14 and was 31st in the overall women’s table. 11th FV45 was Paula Sinnot with a time of 27:33. Youngster Julia Buzuk ran a 27:36 placing 52nd in the female rankings. FV45 had further KTH offerings from Alison Moxey (13th) and Amanda Marlow (19th); with times of 28:31 and 30:37 respectively.

fantastic set of individual and team performances which leaves us wondering; what does the powerhouse that is the Myers-Caffull household have for breakfast?
