On Wednesday 29th July a much reduced squad of Veterans Track and Field athletes competed at Nuneaton. Many of the team were off on holiday at various locations around the UK and world!
The team competed well with their reduced numbers and special mention to Richard Coleman who not only was the only male athlete participating but also managed to gain Club records in the Vet 50 category – javelin 29.68 and Long jump 4.00m. Kerry Munn also broke her own 3000m record by reducing by 8 seconds to 12.04.00.
Well done all involved.
The Veterans team will now head off to Worcester to take part in the Finals on 30th August with the Ladies team looking to defend their title from last year in the “B” Finals, & we wish them the best of luck.
