The Veteran Team enjoyed their first outing in the Midland Veterans League, East Division, finishing in 6th place in the Ladies Team and 7th place in the Mens Team. The standard of competition was very high.
New records were set by Peter Goringe who equaled the Vet 50 400m in 69.8. Terry Haiter making his debut in the Veteran Team also gained a club record in the Vet 35 400m in a time of 67.1. Kathy Coleman also broke her own club record in the Vet 40 2k Walk in a time of 14.33.7.
There were also debut appearances from Steve and Wendy Duke who both performed well for their Team.
All other regular veteran team mates performed well and are looking to improve over the coming season. The next match is at Leamington on 28th May
